How to play nice with people, children, other dogs, toys, and off leash. Supervision. Leash walking. Must-have equipment. Basic manners puppy training. Canine communication. Follow the leader. Problem prevention.
How does it work? We come to your house at a time that’s convenient for you.
The whole family is invited to participate.
The first session should take place within the first week puppy’s arrival in your home (but don’t despair if you have had your puppy longer. It’s never too late to get started).
Rates: All our packages are customized to your needs.
(If you can, book Perfect Puppy well in advance of your puppy’s arrival. This is a very popular program and early notice allows us to schedule your training sessions when it is most convenient for you and your family.)
Did You Know This About Puppies?
The first 3 months of a puppy’s life is called “the critical socialization window.” During this time a puppy soaks up information about what’s safe and good for dogs versus what’s dangerous and bad for dogs. To get a calm, polite adult dog, you need to introduce your puppy to everything you’d like her to calmly accept later in life.
For example: Your neighbors, the mail man, kids at the park, your veterinarian, other dogs, cars, bicycles, lawn mowers, garage doors, the vacuum cleaner, etc.
